The 18th century apartment

The 18th century apartment

In the 18th century, some rooms were refurbished to introduce comfort and intimacy.

The rococo style panelling of the blue room (about 1750) are the work of the Lyon joiner Philibert Lonbois.

The silk panels which cover the walls were presented in 2000 by Société Bucol of Lyon. Like the original, they have a yellow gold background.
